Notice of Public Hearing on the Proposed Second Amendment to the Amended and Restated Sewer Rate Ordinance

Notice is hereby given that the LaPorte County Regional Sewer and Water District

(the “District”), will hold a public hearing at 9:00 a.m. (CDT) on the 16th day of December,

2025, at the LaPorte County Complex Annex, Meeting Room Number 3, located at 809

State Street, LaPorte, Indiana 46350, on the matter of considering the proposed Second

Amendment to the Amended and Restated Sewer Rate Ordinance (“Second Amendment”).

At the hearing, users of the District’s sewage works system, owners of property served or

to be served by the District’s sewage works system, and other interested persons, may be

heard concerning the proposed Ordinance of the District, introduced on the 25th day of

November, 2025.

The complete text of the proposed Second Amendment is available for examination

at the office of the LaPorte County Health Department at 809 S. State Street, Suite 401A,

LaPorte, Indiana 46350, during regular business hours, or on the District’s Website at

www.laportecountyrsd.org and will be available at the public hearing.

Pursuant to Indiana Code 13-26-11-15, the District’s current and proposed rate payers

have certain rights to petition the District objecting to these proposed rates and charges

within thirty (30) days of the date of approval of this Ordinance.

On the 16th day of December, 2025, the Board of Trustees of the District shall

consider, and may take final action on, the proposed Ordinance.
