LAPORTE COUNTY REGIONAL SEWER AND WATER DISTRICT Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) to obtain assistance from the Wastewater State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loan Program
The LaPorte County Regional Sewer and Water District (the “District”) will hold a public hearing at 6:00 pm CDT (7:00 pm EDT) on Thursday, May 5, 2022
The District’s engineering consultant, Jones Petrie Rafinski (JPR), will present the recommended wastewater project for an expansion of the current Service Area, which includes installation of a low-pressure sewer collection system and an expanded Wastewater Treatment Plant to serve the Hudson Lake and Saugany Lake Areas, which are more fully described in the PER. The project will be funded in part through the SRF loan program, as well as the USDA Rural Development loan program.
A copy of the PER is available for public viewing on the Engineer’s website beginning April 21st and will remain posted through May 12th, 2022, at https://www.jpr1source.com/public-resources. The complete PER is available for examination at the LaPorte Co. Public Library, 1 E. Michigan Street, Rolling Prairie, IN, 46371, during regular business hours, and will be available at the public hearing.
